Chairing the judging panel for this year’s Science Book Prize will be Terry
Pratchett, an escapee from the world of technology and science into his
imaginative Discworld. Sponsored by Rhône-Poulenc, and originally
established by COPUS and the Science Museum, the Science Book Prize goes to the
best popular science writing of the year. The shortlist appears on 24 April,
with the winner announced on 19 June.
