Peter Heller is the author of the novels The Guide, The River, Celine, The Painter听补苍诲 The Dog Stars, as well as four non-fiction books, including Kook: What Surfing Taught Me About Love, Life, and Catching the Perfect Wave, which won him the National Outdoor Book Award.
