Queasy astronauts suffering from space sickness on the international space
station may soon benefit from a new treatment: yoga. The Indian Space Research
Organization is considering a preliminary proposal “to study the effect of yogic
exercises on various psycho-physiological effects of long-term exposure to
microgravity”, a spokesperson says. No decision has been made, but it’s one of
several projects that Indian scientists have suggested for space station
research.
