Britain’s first trial of an electronic regional newspaper began this
week. Over the next three months Westminster Press and Digithurst, a company
that specialises in communications in Royston, Hertfordshire, are testing
newspaper delivery to home computers over tele-phone lines. Readers should
eventually be able to receive just the sections and topics they are interested
in.
