Some may justifiably feel that football fans are noisy enough already, but Intune Corporation of Ventura, California, wants to help them clap, shout or boo even louder (WO 0207842). The secret is a multifunction drinks cup. Made of a hard plastic, the cup divides into two vertical halves, down the handle, so each half has its own slimmer handle, allowing them to be banged together like coconut shells, or against a stadium seat or a railing. And the bottom of the cup can be removed, so that when an extension is pulled out, you can use it like a megaphone.
