Eastman-Kodak has come up with a wireless system for printing pictures from
digital cameras that would work in public kiosks or on your PC (EP 963 051).
Microwave ovens could cause interference because they share the 2.4-gigahertz
band used by the system. But ovens pulse their energy, so Kodak has created a
radio that detects the pulses from any nearby oven and sends pictures in the
gaps.
