JUST over a year ago, Bill Clinton signed the Communications Decency Act,
which seeks to ban anything not very nice from the Net. Among other things the
Act triggered the Paint the Web Black protest campaign. Dave Winer is
commemorating the campaign on: http://www.scripting.com/davenet/
97/02/RemembertheBlackout.html. For up-to-date information about how the
challenge to the CDA is going see the Web site of the Electronic Frontier
Foundation at http://www.eff.org/.
