TB is just one of the infections that is becoming resistant to treatment. If
your Web browser supports tables, check out http://www.gerardo.com/viral.htm for
a list of some of the most recent outbreaks of drug-resistant infections.
While looking for information on the evolution of dangerous
antibiotic-resistant strains, Netropolitan was surprised to find that the search
turned up a number of sites featuring the apparently never-ending debate between
evolutionists and creationists.
On the side of the evolutionists Mark Vuletic鈥檚 site at
http://icarus.uic.edu/ ~vuletic/cefec.html provides an extensive list of
creationist arguments, followed by the evolutionist responses. And in the
creationists鈥 corner is Raymond Bohlin, with his page on 鈥渢he natural limits of
biological change鈥 at http://www.gocin/com/probe/ natlim.htm.

Netropolitan makes no bones about being firmly in the evolutionist camp, and
reading these pages did nothing to change that. But it was still fascinating
stuff.
