ANY OF you old cynics who dare to scoff at the younger generation would do well to remember a chastening lesson that one American teacher learnt recently, courtesy of his/her nine-year-old pupils.
The teacher was unimpressed when Beth and Jason proposed posting a message on a few Usenet newsgroups to see how many replies they would get. 鈥淲e hope to get 1000 responses as our teacher said we might get only 10 or 12,鈥� said Beth in the original posting. Someone was in for a surprise, and it wasn鈥檛 the children.
