We read with interest the article by Ian Anderson, ‘Diggers at Dinosaur
Cove’ (13 February), which mentioned that volunteers from Earthwatch, ‘a
practical conservation organisation based in Massachusetts’, helped with
the excavations.

Your Europe-based readers might like to know that there is a European
office of the organisation in Oxford and we have nine palaeontology projects
this year in which they can take part, including projects in Kazakhstan
and Mexico, as well as one in Oxfordshire.

Also, a petty gripe! The photo showing an Earthwatch volunteer was back
to front, so the words ‘Earthwatch Research Team’ are in mirror writing!
